The BURN BAN for Robertson County's unincorporated areas was rescinded on Sept. 26. Patrolman Gary Walker reported that the lake is 14-1/2" low as of September 28. Watch for stumps when the lake is low.

Early voting located in Franklin four blocks north of Hwy. 79 on No. Hearne (turn north just east of the Shell station) at Election Central. The building is on the right, just before the Franklin Nursing Home. October 20-31

The Franklin United Methodist Church is holding its annual Pumpkin Patch with a gift shop (just north of Hwy. 70 on No. Main) from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m. daily through Oct. 31.
