12/19 - We had almost 1-1/2" of rain last night.
12/6/14 - From Sheri Matthews (lot 55): "This dog showed up at our house. Cathy Hayes is going to foster her until she can go to the No Kill Shelter in Hearne or she may decide to keep her. Could you post this on web site and see if she belongs to anyone [or if anyone would like to adopt her]? She is very young, sweet and smart." firstname.lastname@example.org

We have better news! A young couple known to many of you, with a long family history at Camp Creek Lake, Cindy and Chris Caubarreaux, have made the committment to take the website over on January 1 (domain name and web address will be: <http://www.CampCreekers.com>).
Please do copy any links, etc., which you want to keep from this website before the end of December, 2014, as the website will change considerably, and some pages will disappear entirely.
Of particular interest to those of you interested in Camp Creek Lake history might be Edwin H. Cooper's interviews (Part I and II) with Virgie Meadors.
I apologize for any inconvenience. It has been a good 13-year run as webmistress!
